The paper highlights problems surrounding the Year 1 Phonics Screening Check that has accompanied the legislative framework for synthetic phonics in English primary schools. It investigates the inclusion of pseudowords and raises questions regarding their generation and categorization, the rationale for their inclusion and the assumption that the early ability to read pseudowords is associated with later success in reading. 经教育部批准,2000年以来,教育部教育发展研究中心与经济合作与发展组织(OECD)教育委员会,以及英格兰高等教育拨款委员会(HEFCE),一直就有关高等教育发展政策问题进行着卓有成效的项目合作。目前,中心与OECD组织的23个成员国共同开展着“经济全球化背景下的第三级教育”项目研究,与HEFCE共同开展着“高等教育管理国家政策”项目研究。“高等学校财务管理与治理项目”亦曾邀请教育部教育发展研究中心代表中国方面参加,项目成果报告文本即是在合作中由OECD和HEFCE提供给中心项目组的,并授权中心项目组组织翻译出版。报告题目为《On the Edge:Securing a Sustainable Future forHigher Education》。“高等学校财务管理与治理项目”共有8个国家参与,分别为澳大利亚、爱尔兰、荷兰、瑞典、英国、德国、日本和美国,由于教育部教育发展研究中心其他事务繁忙没有参加此项目。该项目主要是在高等教育规模膨胀和政府拨款有限的前提下,探讨高等学校的财务可持续能力建设问题。项目成果报告认为,扩大高等学校自主权是高等教育经费来源多样化在高等学校治理问题上的必然反映,是确保高等学校财务可持续能力的必然要求。与此同时,政府和高等学校的关系需要重新定位,以确保高等学校的可持续发展和确保高等教育满足公共利益需求的挑战。项目成果报告从国家政策和高等学校管理两方面,审视了实现财务可持续性发展的条件,探讨了市场因素对高等教育发展的作用。项目成果报告所涉及问题与中国高等教育发展面临情况非常相似,有很强的借鉴作用,值得中国高等教育管理部门和高等学校参考。本项目成果报告由教育部发展研究中心副主任范文曜研究员组译和审改,由教育发展研究中心高教室申玉彪(国际合作司干部)翻译,马陆亭研究员校改。 相似文献

This research introduces a new construct, gender‐based relationship efficacy, which refers to beliefs about one's ability to relate to own‐ and other‐gender peers. Study 1 investigated 204 fourth graders (M age = 9.56) and confirmed that own‐gender and other‐gender relationship efficacy represent distinguishable aspects of preadolescents' social competency beliefs that are differentially related to outcomes with own‐ and other‐gender peers, including outcome expectancies and friendships with own‐ and other‐gender peers. Study 2 provided further evidence of the distinctiveness of relationship efficacy for own‐ and other‐gender peers among 403 seventh (M age = 12.48) and 453 eighth (M age = 13.50) graders and found gender and age differences. Developmental changes and implications for research on intergroup relationships are discussed. 相似文献

Abstract This article examines copyright issues related to online course development and delivery. An overview and brief history of copyright law is presented, with attention to the ways in which various technologies have shaped modern interpretations of copyright law. Examples of recent lawsuits and several case studies provide a context for examination of fair use issues and liability for online copyright infringement. Finally, some helpful questions are presented on topics such as process issues, institutional policies, software and licensing, copyright issues, and other alternatives. These questions should provide a basis to help online course providers think through issues related to copyright, the Internet, and distance education. 相似文献

This paper sets out to show how some theoretical concepts derived from Lacanian psychoanalysis might be put to work in the business of reflective practitioner research in education. It seeks to offer a more sophisticated, reflexively produced account of researcher identity built out of the narrative generated within a research enquiry. It illustrates, with reference to examples of writing from a specific research project, carried out within the context of a higher degree, how one teacher-researcher has used the concepts in forging a more productive understanding of her own evolving identity as a researcher through a process predicated on developing her own professional functioning. Shifting perspectives are provided on what the researcher wants from the enquiry as the researcher herself unfolds and analyses the successive phases of her narrative. 相似文献

Electronic journals are so embedded into practice in academic libraries that it is easy to forget that this is not the case everywhere. In NHS libraries, for example, the staff face a particular set of issues. This article is based on Rebecca England's dissertation on this topic, completed as part of the MSc Econ course in Information and Library studies at Aberystwyth University. Rebecca is E‐resources Librarian at the Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust.
